Lamu Art & Poetry Workshop — In Partnership with KidsCreate Kenya, Anidan ONGD & MyStart Project

In the serene coastal town of Lamu, we gathered for a heartfelt creative workshop that brought together children under 13 from the Anidan Centre, hosted by KidsCreate Kenya in collaboration with MyStart Project. Guided by the transformative power of art, the young participants explored poetry and visual storytelling, drawing inspiration from my photography catalogue, Flares of Enthusiasm. Together, we created a safe, imaginative space where the children expressed their dreams, fears, and joy through words and color. I had the privilege of introducing them to my virtual reality gallery—opening new doors to art as both sanctuary and possibility. This experience was not only profoundly moving but a testament to the brilliance and resilience of young minds when nurtured with care and creativity.
